These results are matched against commonly cited eligibility patterns for each scholarship, compiled from past application cycles — not a live feed from each sponsor's portal. Sitting, exam-body, and minimum-grade rules genuinely change between cycles and aren't always clearly published, especially for corporate/oil-and-gas scholarships. Treat a 🟢 as "worth applying, go confirm the current-year criteria," not a guarantee, and always check the scholarship's own portal before you commit time to an application.

Why sittings, exam bodies, and grades all matter separately

Nigerian university admission generally accepts five credits — including English Language and Mathematics — combined across up to two sittings of WAEC and/or NECO. That's the baseline most students plan around, and it's the most forgiving standard on this page.

Scholarships add their own, often stricter, layers on top of that baseline:
